Apple’s 34th worldwide developers conference will take place on June 5 to June 9, 2023, it will be held at Apple Park in California. The event tickets have been priced at $1599 for the in-person event, but the select developers, journalists, and students that have been invited to attend the event do not have to pay for the tickets. The event will commence at 1 pm ET and people at home can also witness the event as it would be broadcasted live online on various platforms such as YouTube, Apple's social media handles and Apple's website

People are expected to get a glimpse of new iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS updates, plus the opportunity to interact with Apple engineers through engineering sessions, one-on-one lab appointments, and the Apple Developer Forums. Students also get to participate in the annual Swift Student Challenge to win prizes and a chance to visit Apple Park.

The biggest announcement to be rumoured is that Apple would be unveiling its first AR/VR headset. A WWDC debut will give developers time to design apps and experiences for the device ahead of a launch later in the year. The AR/VR headsets would be running on the xrOS that will also be displayed in the event.

Apple will unveil new MacBooks at WWDC, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. According to Gurman, Apple is developing a new 13-inch MacBook Pro, an upgraded 13-inch MacBook Air, and a larger 15-inch MacBook Air which would be the one that will be unveiled at the event.

Lastly, the Lock Screen in iOS 16 was a huge feature change, but Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that iOS 17 will include some of the "most requested features" that iPhone owners have been asking for. We could also get some notable updates to the watchOS 10, tvOS 17 and macOS 14 which are also going to be unveiled at WWDC 2023.
